The Jura Mountains
Nestled along the border of France and Switzerland, the Jura Mountains remain a hidden gem, often overshadowed by the more famous Alps, Pyrenees, and Dolomites. Thanks to their relative obscurity, the roads winding through the Juras are delightfully quiet, offering a serene and breathtaking experience.
.

Our tour begins with two nights in the charming lakeside town of Annecy, France—often called the “Venice of the Alps.” From there, we ride into the heart of the Jura Mountains, traveling to Arbois, a picturesque village renowned for its distinctive wines and rustic charm. After a few nights in Arbois, we continue east into Switzerland for a two-night stay in Neuchâtel, a vibrant lakeside city with a rich medieval history. From Neuchâtel, we pedal back into the Jura range to Saint-Claude, a hidden gem known for its dramatic scenery and some of the most beautiful cycling roads in the region. Finally, we return to Annecy for a final night to relax and celebrate the journey.
